Re: Havasu Falls info
Just a couple things regarding info and changes down at Havasu
First, be ready to write a massive check this year in the office in Supai
Second, even though rumors had it that there were assigned spaces for general public because of their new online reservation system, there are not.
Third, the lay of the land down there have changed from the floods this winter, and lots of mud and rock formations under the water are completely different before, for example I do know that people can no longer jump from Navajo, and one of the top pools of beaver falls is significantly shallower than a year ago.
Fourth, due to these floods a lot of the creek crossings on the way to beaver falls have changed slightly. The biggest change to the final one. It used to have a series of two bridges, (right before you go under the palm tree) those no longer exist and you can see them washed out further down stream.
Fifth, if you are running low on fuel due to lots of coffee drinkers, or a fuel canister doesn't work, the lodge in supai usually have extra fuel that guests leave that the lady at the front desk says we can just have. When I was there it was mostly isobutane propane canisters. But she said that some times there is white gas.
Sixth, once you get done with hilltop and drive into seligmam for lunch the best place to stop is Snow Cap, it is quick and great food. It will be on the right hand side right before you leave town.

Also just wanted everyone to know that it we should be filling up in chino valley at the Circle K. It is way cheaper and also a lot easier to get in and out of than the chevron in Seligman!
